Foundation Pathway in Pharmacy

Robert Gordon University boasts one of the oldest Schools of Pharmacy in the UK and has a long and distinguished record of producing graduate pharmacists of the highest calibre. Ranked 7th in the UK by the Guardian University Guide for 2018. Students on this integrated master’s degree enjoy a high level of practical experience across disciplines, including hospital and community pharmacies, laboratory work and the on campus Pharmacy Simulation Centre.
The University Foundation (with entry from high school) will develop key skills, knowledge, confidence and practical skills before joining Year 1. Progression into the Master of Pharmacy is guaranteed, as long as minimum pass mark is achieved.

It is essential that pharmacists receive the best possible education and training in order to become fully competent, experienced and confident professionals, and fulfil such a demanding role. The MPharm course at Robert Gordon University will provide this and more, offering students an integrated Master's course from a university ranked highly for the subject.

By studying at Robert Gordon University you will develop an understanding of how the body works, the effects of disease and how drugs are made, administered and their impact upon the body, as well as ensuring that patients get maximum benefits from medicines with the minimum amount of side effects.

ICRGU offers a pathway to the Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) award from Robert Gordon University. You will commence with a University Foundation before progressing onto the first year at Robert Gordon University. The University Foundation will help equip you with the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to excel at this course when you progress onto university. Progression is assured as long as the minimum pass marks are achieved within the University Foundation year.

- Partner University tuition fees that apply to a Student after Progression are determined by the Partner University and published on the
