Orientation

Orientation marks the start of a new chapter in your life at ICRGU. This exciting time at the beginning of your studies, will help you adjust to life in a new country and introduce you to ICRGU, Robert Gordon University and the city you will call home – Aberdeen.

It is a new study environment and for most students a new country and a new way of life.

Orientation is where it all starts, so don’t miss it.

What Will Happen at Orientation?

ICRGU hosts a series of activities and programs to help you settle in and adjust to life in the UK:

  • You will receive information about your ICRGU course, an orientation kit and a student diary
  • Meet the college staff, student mentors and your new friends at ICRGU
  • Be introduced to a range of services and facilities available to you as a student, both from ICRGU and Robert Gordon University
  • You will get a tour of Robert Gordon University, showing you where all the key areas are on campus

There will also be information sessions focusing on accommodation, employment, safety, health and computer skills. These are all designed to help you settle into your new environment and make the most of your time at ICRGU.

Most importantly orientation ensures that you are enrolled – you will create your timetable, purchase textbooks and obtain your student card.
